ANNUAL HOLIDAY TEA PARTY CELEBRATION

It’s almost time for SIP’s Annual Holiday Tea Party Celebration! Enjoy our festively-decorated tea room and savor the sights, sounds and tastes of the season. Your special Tea Service will feature delicious food, festive drinks and plenty of cheer. Holiday seating’s are available every Thursday through Sunday, November 26 – December 23, 2022.

Your prix fixe menu presented on a three-tier serving stand will include freshly prepared tea sandwiches, accompanied by two baked sausage rolls, a warm English scone, SIP clotted cream, preserves, lemon curd, mixed greens, fresh fruit, holiday sweets, a sparkling glass of bubbles and a pot of tea.

Join Mrs. Claus, on Friday, December 16, 2022, in SIP’s festively decorated tea room to enjoy a delicious feast, hot chocolate, fresh baked gingerbread men, and loads of fun while Mrs. Claus reads stories & sings songs. A unique adventure awaits!

Trivia Holiday Happy Hour

Bring your friends/family out, on Thursday, December 8, 2022, and put your noggin’s to the test. While you battle it out with the other teams, tuck into a tasty selection of fresh scones and a buffet of holiday dessert bites, plus sip mulled wine and hot tea. Food & beverages are included in your ticket price.

Join us Friday, May 13th from 4pm-6pm, for a special Downton Abbey inspired happy hour at Sip Tea Room! There will be live music by the Luke Doughty Quintet, drink specials, and chances to win prizes inspired by the new film, DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA and chances to win tickets to a special preview screening of the film on May 16th in San Francisco.

Admission is free. Walk-ins are welcome, as space is available. Beer/Wine/Bubbles available for purchuse.

Green Jasmine

A classic green China tea with full-bodied flavor, scented with freshly picked jasmine flowers. Harvested during the day, the flowers are stored until night. During the night, the flowers bloom with full fragrance, and are then layered over the tea leaves to create its lovely flavor.

Garden Patio Seating

Full Traditional Afternoon Tea Service is now being served outside on our lovely covered Garden Patio. We are fortunate to have such a beautiful space for guests to enjoy Tea.

With an advance reservation, guests will be served a prix fixe menu presented on a three-tier serving stand. Meals include two baked sausage rolls (or veggie rolls) with HP Brown Sauce, a selection of freshly prepared tea sandwiches, a warm English scone, SIP clotted cream, preserves, lemon curd, tossed greens, fresh fruit, a delicate sweets selection and a pot of loose leaf tea.

Big Hibiscus

Luscious red hibiscus with Indian sarsaparilla, ginger, pink rose petals, and elderflowers from Europe. Deep red and complex, showcasing a tart, cranberry-like flavor and high in Vitamin C. This tea almost needs a corkscrew.

Perfect hot and cold. Sugar and honey may be added to sweeten. We recommend avoiding milk; it will curdle due to the acidity of the hibiscus.

We had a fantastic time participating in the first Inner Sunset Holiday Lights Stroll! A HUGE thanks to all of our neighbors who bought every single cookie, minced pie, chocolate bite and peppermint bark bag that we had available! You drank every drop of mulled wine and hot chocolate that we prepared! The Luke Doughty Trio was excellent and really added to the festive atmosphere – the crowd loved them. Holiday lights, trolley rides & plenty of family fun. Let’s do it again in 2022!
